ST GREGORY'S COLLEGE
ST GREGORY'S COLLEGE, CAMPBELLTOWN
I was the first motivational speaker to have had the privilege to speak in the college's new auditorium. When arriving, I was blown away at how large the place was. Tucked behind open acres of land stood the sights of large sandstone buildings and student's rushing to get inside.
Presenting to year 10, I spoke for 45 minutes to the young men who were extremely attentive. I was impressed with the in depth questions they asked at the end of the talk.
"If a friend of mine is depressed, how do I get them out of it?"
"What should I tell a friend who wants to do drugs?"
These are all hard hitting questions! Questions that come from a caring mind. It was pleasant to hear. After the talk I was approached by numerous students who wanted to tell me some of their stories, and battles. One student explained that he was getting away from his passion of playing cricket because he was being peer pressured into partying. He said that after hearing my talk he was no longer going to worry about what other people thought and get right back into his cricket. I smiled, shook his hand, and told him how impressed I was. He smiled back before walking away.
I later received a message from him on Facebook..
"Hi Luke you spoke at my school today. It was so good to hear from someone who suffers how I suffer. I thought I was the only one who worried and cared all the time what other people thought. I'm going to start being myself. Thank you."
Many of the students I met that day went on to read, Stabbed Ego, and they gave me some incredible feedback and left me with some enlightening reviews. For that I'm incredibly grateful.

ABOUT
LUKE KENNEDY
In my years of experience, one thing has become clear: I know people. I understand what works-and a lot of what doesn't. Genuine connection is the cornerstone of progress and impact. My ability to connect deeply with people is what makes my talks and workshops leave a strong and lasting impression. If you're just looking for a motivational speaker to inspire for the day and leave it at that… I'm probably not the right fit. While I do inspire in the moment, what truly matters to me is how to harness that inspiration to drive lasting change long after the presentation is over.
